International Conference on Educational Innovations — Hosted by European School

For three days, teachers and educators temporarily took the place of students at European School. All three campuses of the school, along with its infrastructure, were devoted to panel discussions, thematic sessions, and presentations on educational innovations: how to teach the children of the future in an era of rapidly changing technologies.

Educational innovations and these very challenges were the focus of the international conference 5EXLC2026, hosted by European School from May 1 through May 3. Nearly 600 local and international guests, including teachers, educators, experts, experienced speakers, and field specialists, discussed and shared innovations that will soon move into practice in schools and educational institutions and that, in today’s era of modern technologies and artificial intelligence, are necessary, in demand, and inevitable.

The fifth Educational Innovations Conference was held within the framework of the Association of IB World Schools of the Caucasus and Central Asia.

For three days, European School became a center of innovation, bringing together education professionals from Georgia and from various countries around the world.

Who were the participants? They included leaders of the International Baccalaureate (IB) organization, the Council of International Schools (CIS), COGNIA, and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), as well as school leaders and practicing educators. All international schools operating in Georgia participated in the conference.

What was the purpose of the conference? Global cooperation, professional development, and the opportunity to share modern, innovative approaches to teaching. The conference became a platform for shaping the future.

Over the course of three days, the sharing of experience, access to innovations, thematic sessions, and panel discussions followed one another. Guests also had the opportunity to become acquainted with Georgian culture, traditions, and cuisine. Through the involvement of teachers and students, European School was able to introduce our country over the course of these several days. These were the emotions we shared with our guests and that they took with them.
