What began as an initiative last year has now evolved into a valued tradition for the GIG team. One year later, we gathered once again to review the organization’s annual achievements and progress. This year’s meeting took place in Manglisi, at the newly opened Leadership Academy — “Sabado.”
The event brought together GIG’s core leadership and team members for a comprehensive review of the company’s progress across all departments. A total of 18 presentations were delivered, highlighting the year’s key activities and accomplishments.
We reviewed the results of 2025 — a year marked by both challenges and achievements — and discussed the business outlook and strategic priorities for the current year.
The presentations covered a wide range of topics, including the work of the Legal Department, the response of GIG’s IT team to a cyberattack, and the successful recovery of critical databases. Other key subjects included internal monitoring and audit processes, the implementation of budgeting and reporting systems within the company, and the introduction of a new security framework.
The team also shared updates on the Investment Group’s performance, initiatives aimed at strengthening business transparency and control systems, and operating effectively under increased tax regulations and oversight. Additional discussions focused on process management, the launch of a new CSR campaign, the development of new social media platforms, and the management and communication strategies for both local and international companies within the group.
The formal agenda was later replaced by the informal part of the gathering, where team members enjoyed various recreational activities and entertainment facilities available at the “Sabado” venue.
