
A new energy project is planned to be implemented by one of the largest Chinese companies Dongfang Electric Corporation of China in cooperation with the Georgian Industrial Group Management of the Georgian Industrial Group (GIG) arranged one more meeting with the top management of one of the largest Chinese companies Dongfang Electric Corporation.
The purpose of negotiations with the Chinese investors group is the efficient implementation of the planned largeâscale energy projects. Georgian Industrial Group considers Dongfang Electric Corporation as a partner party in the construction of a new 150 MW coalâoperated thermal power plant in Tkibuli municipality.
Main subject of the negotiations was the action plan for joint implementation and efficient management of the energy projects under the planned partnership. Technical and financial issues have been discussed by the parties. As a result of negotiations, the working schedule and the content of the mutual memorandum specifying the obligations of the parties were determined. The Georgian party was represented by Mr. Matias Iorg, General Director of the Georgian Industrial Group, Mr. Levan Choladze, Executive Director, Mr. Zurab Gelenidze, Financial Director, Mr. Givi Chachia, General Director of Tkibuli 150 and Mr. Tornike Meladze, Manager at Tkibuli 150. It should be noted that the management of one of the largest chinese companies Dongfang Electric Corporation of China is interested in the investment of a new energy project of the Georgian Invesment Groups (GIG).
The subject of the negotiations is the commencement of construction of a new 150 MW coalâoperated thermal power plant in Tkibuli municipality.
