
The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Georgian Industrial Group signed an agreement on intention. The company joins EnMS CBI Programme for Competence Raising and Implementation of Energy Management Systems of the second component of Industrial Energy Efficiency Development Project of the United Nations Organization. With the participation in the program, the Georgian Industrial Group expresses its willingness to contribute to the reduction of negative influence of global climate. Furthermore, the introduction of modern international systems and standards of energy management will make the process of production more efficient and will enable the Georgian industrial group to expand capital resources but provide energy efficient technologies in Georgia said Zurab Gelenidze, General Director of Georgian Industrial Group at signing ceremony.
