September 10 marks the Power Engineer’s Day. A distinguished ceremony took place at the Zahesi hydro power plant, which boasts a century-long legacy. The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development orchestrated the event, with representatives from government agencies and private entities in the national energy sector in attendance.

Romeo Mikautadze, the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, bestowed certificates and token gifts upon IECG power engineers Shota Shubladze and Giorgi Khinchakadze, in recognition of their unwavering commitment to their professional roles.
Both Shota Shubladze and Giorgi Khinchakadze bring a wealth of experience, having served at the Gardabani thermal power plant for over 15 years.
"Today, I extend my sincere congratulations to everyone in the sector, particularly those diligently ensuring a consistent and uninterrupted energy supply to our country and its people," remarked Romeo Mikautadze.
During the gathering, energy sector representatives were updated on industry news, forthcoming plans, and anticipated reforms.
